Public Hearing: Proposed Budget FY 2008-09: The proposed budget for fiscal year 2008-2009 for the City of Havelock has been presented to the Board of Commissioners and is available for public inspection in the office of the City Clerk, located at Havelock City Hall, 1 Governmental Avenue, Havelock, NC from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. weekdays. There will be a public hearing at 7:05 p.m., or soon thereafter on June 9, 2008 in the City Hall Auditorium, 1 Governmental Avenue, Havelock, North Carolina for the purpose of discussing the proposed budget. Citizens are invited to make written or oral comments.

Public Hearing Notice-June 9, 2008-Rezone Request: Notice is hereby given that the Havelock Board of Commissioners will hold a Public Hearing in the Havelock City Hall Auditorium, located at 1 Governmental Avenue on Monday, June 9, 2008 at 7:15 p.m., or as soon as the matter can be reached. This public hearing is to consider a submitted request to rezone approximately 2.72 acres, described as Craven County Tax Parcel #6-039-003 (Greenfield Heights) from Light Industrial (LI) to Highway Commercial (HC). Additional information is available by calling the Havelock Planning & Inspections Department at (252) 444-6411 during regular business hours. All interested parties are urged to attend.
