Where is the Recreation Center/Complex located?
We are located at 1 Recreation Dr off of Hwy 101. Traveling east on Hwy 101 pass Havelock High School and we are just past Roger Bell Elementary School.


Where do I go or who do I contact to register myself or my child for a program?
You may contact the Recreation Department at 444-6429 or 444-6439. If the program is sponsored by the Department we can register you for the program. If the program is sponsored by an association, we can put you in touch with the association or in some cases start the registration process.


How do I find out about program offerings?

The Parks and Recreation Department has a program brochure that they can send you by calling 444-6429 and requesting one. You can also pick on up in person at the Recreation Center on Hwy 101 or at City Hall or the Tourist and Event Center. You may also view a listing of our available programs through this website by clicking here..

The Parks and Recreation Department is also compiling an e-mail list for a future quarterly newsletter that will be distributed electronically. You can be placed on this e-mail list by calling parks and recreation at 444-6429 or 444-6439.



What are the costs involved for membership at the Recreation Center?
Recreation Memberships range in length from weekly to annual. The prices also vary as to the age of the participant and residence. The Recreation Center also offers family memberships from monthly up to annual. You can receive membership fees by calling 444-6429 or 444-6439. How do I reserve a park or facility?
You may reserve a park, park shelter, recreation center meeting room, old senior center, ballfield or gymnasium by calling us at 444-6429 or 444-6439.
