The City of Havelock operates a state of the art water treatment facility including chloramines disinfection and corrosion control capability. The current plant capacity is 2.80 MGD, and stores a total of 2.20 MG in three elevated storage tanks and a ground storage tank. The City's average daily flow is about 1.2 MGD. The water plant meets or exceeds all of the state requirements for THM’s, HAA’s, and lead and copper, etc.
